| "The
greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." - Gandhi We understand the love of a favoured pet, separation anxiety, and the difficulty in locating genuinely pet friendly accommodation
Glenaire Cottages welcomes pets with the simple philosophy: "Your pet is as welcome in our cottages as he or she is in your own home." We simply ask that you use your discretion with regard to the high standard of our cottages, to the well-being of our native wildlife and be responsible for any damage and all cleanliness.
Please let us know if you do intend to bring the pooch, and what concerns or requirements you may have but be assured they are most welcome. To this end we have provided fenced areas at each of our cottages to give you the security and confidence you need to know that your pet is safe. Our beautiful forest trail is also available to them. Be aware that National Parks have strict guidelines with regard to restrictions on all domestic animals in National Parks and their current policies can always be confirmed by calling Parks Victoria on 131 963 or by visiting their website at www.parkweb.vic.gov.au Johanna Beach is dog friendly but the current status can always be confirmed with Parks. Always remember that we are in a natural environment and while you and your pet's safety is our concern it is your responsibility and some conditions must apply. |
